Also on the Lithuania official website they explicitly wrote: "Lietuvoje patvirtintu ligos atveju: 1449". However now they claim the numbers were not confirmed cases, while they were reporting on confirmed cases for two months.

Todays statement by Lithuania is very strange. For 2 months they have been reporting to WHO 'positive tests' as 'confirmed cases', while WHO explicitly asks for 'confirmed cases' to report on, and even adds definitions so member states cannot be confused. Nevertheless Lithuania still has been reporting the wrong numbers for months..

Today Lithuania revises its numbers. Up till now, apparently Lithuania has been reporting 'positive tests' instead of 'confirmed cases'. "Number of people confirmed with the disease. To date, information has been provided on positive laboratory test results rather than positive cases (humans)." This is why they now claim they have 1344 confirmed cases. Much lower than before.
